My 9th Week of the 11th Turbulence Training Transformation Contest
This is my 9th week from the 11th Turbulence Training Transformation Contest. I’m almost in the home stretch. It was an interesting week filled with lots of sandwiches, fruit and I didn’t forget to throw in a few hot dogs as well. Once again, the main goal is to keep within my calories and not so much focused on the food I am eating. I am trying to make the healthier choices though. This Turbulence Training Transformation Contest has really made me think and realize how many people around me are overeating each day. Most of the meals I have are usually about half the size of what others are eating. I began the Buff Dudes and Hot Chicks Turbulence Training workout this week. It’s a 3 day workout that has 2 separate workouts so you do one of each a week.
Turbulence Training Transformation Contest Day 57
Today I woke up extra early at 5:45. Not by choice. I had 2 pieces of toast with peanut butter and honey. I also had some vegetable juice and an apple.
I kind of combined lunch and dinner since we had my son’s baptism in the afternoon. I had 4 mini sandwiches. maybe the size of a 6-8 inch sub. Pasta salad and some grapes. A black coffee and water to drink. I stayed away from the goodies and cake.
In the evening I had a bowl of melon, pineapple and grapes.
I did a lot of work with my roller in the morning. Getting some of the kinks out of my legs and glutes.
Turbulence Training Transformation Contest Day 58
Today I’m on the Sandwiches and fruit diet. Not by choice. We have so many sandwiches and fruit left over from my son’s baptism. At least I got rid of the cake.
I had Sandwiches for breakfast and some for lunch with fruit.
Dinner I had some pizza, salad and veggies.
I did the buff dudes and hot chicks workout today. It was pretty good. Stuck with 2 supersets of each so I can go easy for the first week getting use to it. By looking at the workout it seemed easy but I was working up a pretty good sweat by the end. It will be even better when I do 3 supersets. The stability ball ab pike exercise was rough. My wrists need to get in shape. They were feeling it.
I have to get my bench and workout mat before Wednesday so I can do the workout B which I will definitely need both for.
Turbulence Training Transformation Contest Day 59
Today was a workout day off. I ate some veggies and left over sandwiches for breakfast. I skipped lunch since we were at Ikea and I didn’t want another hot dog. I did get a bit of a workout in lifting the beds we bought.
For dinner I had stuffed peppers and some melon and grapes.
I also picked up 4 x 2.5 lbs weights. I only had enough for one set of dumbbells. I also got a 4′x6′x1/2″ exercise mat. This thing must weigh 60lbs. It’s a workout moving it around. Once I move I’ll pick up a couple more as I’ll then have more area for working out.
I was going to start another fast but there was just too much fruit still left over that I didn’t want to go to waste. I’ll do my fast tomorrow.. Nice that it’s flexible.
Turbulence Training Transformation Contest Day 60
I had lots of fruit for breakfast today. Finally it’s almost all gone. It’s hard adjusting to eating less and making sure things don’t spoil. It doesn’t help when you have an event and end up taking home all the leftovers.
I did my Workout B from the buff dudes hot chicks workout after I cut the grass. I used less weight as it says and I still got a great workout.
I had some stuffed peppers for lunch and for dinner I had steak, potato and a salad with a glass of red wine at the restaurant at the casino.
My fast started at 7pm. No workout tomorrow. It will be a cleaning day again.
Turbulence Training Transformation Contest Day 61
Today was a fasting day. I had a couple cups of black coffee and water. I was doing house cleaning for most of the morning.
For dinner I had a subway ham sub.
Turbulence Training Transformation Contest Day 62
It’s Canada day here in Canada. I had fruit for breakfast this morning before we went to the parade. After the parade we had lunch. It was chicken, corn on the cob and salad. No dressing on my salad.
For dinner I had a turkey burger and some potato salad. I also had a banana and some almonds after dinner.
I did the Workout C from buff dudes hot chicks. It was pretty rough doing all the supersets without any break in between. I think this is just the workout I need. Even using lower weights you can still really feel it.
Just over a week we can all see how everyone’s transformations for the 6 week contest went. If I do another contest I’ll remember to start on the last possible date. Nothing like sitting around and waiting for 4 weeks to see how you compare with the other transformations.
Turbulence Training Transformation Contest Day 63
Today was a workout day off. For breakfast I had some Kashi cereal with 1% milk. Lunch was an egg salad sandwich. Dinner was at the food court. I had a couple chicken wraps.
It was a pretty low calorie day for me today. I started another fast at 5:30 pm.
My activity today was taking my son to soccer in the morning. He made a couple nice saves as goalie and scored his first goal.
I picked some weeds in the afternoon and went to the mall in the evening. A pretty relaxing day.
I took some measurements as well. I thought for the 12 weeks I would like to lose 25lbs and I have almost done that. I have 0.5 lbs to go. Now I am at about 12% body fat. I think I may have to get around 8% to see these abs. I still have 3 weeks to go and I’m sure I’ll make it to the single digits.

Turbulence Training Transformation Contest Week 9 Summary
It was another great week aside from eating the same foods for days straight. I am still making progress in my fat loss. I’m still feeling some soreness from that Workout C I did on Friday. It’s amazing what you can do even with low weights. I’m feeling it in my lats and my chest. The workout mat I got is sure coming in handy. My workout was that much better because of it. When I was doing lunges it felt a lot sturdier and it’s nice to know you have some good padding under your knee when you are kneeling. The only downside is if you are sweating on it then it can become slippery. Better use a towel next time.
Only 3 more weeks to go. With this workout I feel these are going to be my best 3 weeks of my Turbulence Training Transformation Contest.
