My 7th Week of the 11th Turbulence Training Transformation Contest
This is week 7 (June 12-18) of my Transformation in the 11th Turbulence Training Transformation Contest. I’ve been trying to list in more detail what I am eating during my transformation. I also purchased a foam roaller this week in the hopes that I won’t need to be going for a massage as often. It’s not just some cheap foam roller. It’s the travelroller.
Turbulence Training Transformation Contest Day 43
Today was a workout day off. The beginning of week 7 in my Transformation. I had some eggs with cheese, fruit and a glass of milk for breakfast. For lunch I had some leftover pasta and chicken. Dinner was chinese food takeout.
I spent most of the day at the funeral home for my grandma’s visiting.
Turbulence Training Transformation Contest Day 44
Today I had some toast with peanut butter, honey and a dash of cinnamon with a glass of milk and fruit. I did my workout in the morning at around 10am. It was workout A. I upped my weights 5lbs. I had a protein shake after my workout. I decided not to have lunch as the funeral luncheon would be around 3pm. I had some sandwiches and fruit and was done eating by 4pm. Starting another fast and this one could last up to 26 hrs. A little longer then usual.
Turbulence Training Transformation Contest Day 45
I continued with my fast today. It was a workout day off. I had water, a cup of green tea and a sprite zero during my fast along with a couple pieces of sugarfree gum. My fast lasted over 26 hrs this time.
My activity for today was powerwashing my parents patio and I took my kids for a 30 minute walk in the wagon after dinner. For dinner I had 4 small leftover sandwiches, some peanuts, celery, carrots and some grapes.
In the evening I had a bowl of melon and grapes. Evenings are going to be getting tougher as I am running out of shows on TV to watch. Going to be spending more time on the computer.
Turbulence Training Transformation Contest Day 46
Today I had 3 eggs, with cheese and a half a green pepper along with some grapes, and melon for breakfast.
I did my workout B of the 2k4 in the morning. That second superset is still killing my legs. I think they are going to be in the best shape ever after this 2k4 workout. Hard to imagine you can get such a great workout without using any machines. I remember the only leg exercises I use to do were leg press, leg extentions and leg curls all with machines.
For lunch we went to costco so I had a hot dog and a couple fries. I had a coke zero to go with it. There aren’t many options and I forgot my water.
For dinner I had some white sause pasta with chicken. I had a banana for desert.
Start another fast at 5:40 pm.
After dinner I cut the grass and then watched the hockey game. Thank god the season is over now. It gets really long when you team (Toronto Maple Leafs) isn’t in the playoffs.
Turbulence Training Transformation Contest Day 47
Today is an off day for my workout. I took a walk in the morning with the kids to the park. In the evening I did some house cleaning and vacuuming.
I fasted untill dinner. I had 2 black coffee’s and water during my fast.
For dinner I had some left over past and 4 chicken wings.
In the evening I had some almonds and a banana.
I have been looking up foam rollers and the acuball and I am considering picking up one or both. I am looking for input on which will help my back and relieve stress in muscles the most. Hopefully also reduce the amount of times I have to go for a massage.
Turbulence Training Transformation Contest Day 48
36 days to go.. I just finished my Workout A from 2K4. Unfortunately I didn’t get my workout in till late tonight. I was out of the house most of the day. I picked up the travel roller today. I found a store nearby so I didn’t have to pay the shipping. They also had 10% off fitness equipment today as well. Double bonus for me.
I gave it a try. I can see this improving my core strength and getting rid of some tense muscles. Usually when I go for a massage there isn’t enough time to work on my legs so they have been neglected. Maybe working on my legs will improve my leg strength in the long run.
I began another fast after dinner. My meals weren’t that good today. I had 3 pieces of toast with peanut butter and honey along with a banana for breakfast. Lunch was a couple pieces of pizza and dinner was 2 turkey burgers. At least calorie wise I was on track. My goal is mainly just to stick with the proper calories.
Turbulence Training Transformation Contest Day 49
Today I continued fasting until dinner. I took my son to soccer in the morning and then went shopping. Picked up some vegetable juice. No sugar added. It’s pretty good and only 60 calories a glass.
In the afternoon I did some cleaning outside and played hockey with my son.
I had chicken and rice for dinner. In the evening I went to a stag and doe. I had my first drink during this contest. A light beer. Then I had some food (salad, veggies and meat) at the stag and doe. I stayed away from the pasta and bread.
I think I am going to give the fasting a rest for a couple days then get back on it midweek.
Another great week down. 5 more weeks to go.
