My 5th Week of the 11th Turbulence Training Transformation Contest
This is my 5th week of the 11th Turbulence Training Transformation Contest. It’s May 29 – June 4. It was a pretty good week as I began the 2K4 workouts. The Workout A is mostly upperbody supersets and the Workout B focuses on legs. I definately like the Workout A better.
Turbulence Training Transformation Contest Day 29
Today was a workout day off. I am starting my 5th week of the contest. Tomorrow I begin the 2K4 workout. I was starting to get tired of the other one. Perfect timing.
I did a lot of housework and cleaning today. That was a workout in itself. It was my son’s birthday party today. I had a mini piece of cake and a mini cheesecake. I think I was still pretty close to my 2100 calories for today.
Starting another fast going into tomorrows dinner.
Turbulence Training Transformation Contest Day 30
I was fasting today until dinner. It’s getting easier and I don’t think about food or my stomach isn’t asking for it either.
Today was my first workout of the 2k4. I was suprised there wasn’t any leg exercises in the program. It was actually a nice change to have my legs take a break. I did look at the next workout and there are a lot of leg exercises. I’m scared. I guess I’m going to like workout A better in this workout.
I’m stuck looking at cake every time I go into the fridge. My wife forgot to take the left over cake to work. Maybe I’ll make everyone have some tomorrow for her birthday.
Turbulence Training Transformation Contest Day 31
Today was a workout day off. It was so hot outside. I’m sure I sweated off a couple pounds. I did a lot of moving and cleaning up today. I’m still going good with my calories. That damn cake in the fridge keeps tempting me. I wish it would just go away.
Tomorrow’s going to be rough with all the leg exercises in the workout. I feel a big fat burning workout coming on.
Turbulence Training Transformation Contest Day 32
Today I did workout B of the 2K4 workout. There were lots of leg exercises. I was sweating bullets during the 2nd superset and that’s only just over 20 min into my workout. I did the bulgurian split squat without weights. It was rough enough.
In the evening we went to Milestones for my wife’s b-day. We had the couples date night menu. I had the sirloin steak. I only ate half and took the leftovers home. I also had a little desert. I started my fast at the end of the meal.
Turbulence Training Transformation Contest Day 33
Today was a workout day off. My back pain is back now. Luckily I’m getting a massage tomorrow. I did some yard work and cleaned the house all day. A very productive day as it usually is on a fasting day. The time flew by and I had energy all day. For dinner I had the rest of my steak from the night before.
Turbulence Training Transformation Contest Day 34
My day started off going to get a massage. Apparently my back isn’t as it should be. I think I have to work on my posture and not lay on the couch at an awkward angle.
In the afternoon I did workout A again. I like this one the best. No leg workout just upper body. My kind of workout. It breaks it up a bit. I have substituted the rear delt raises with side raises since I’m not suppose to do the rear type that’s like flys. Workout went good but I need another set of dumbbells so I can use different weights for different exercises and so I can also use more weight. I’m almost at the max that I have.
I started another fast after dinner tonight.
Turbulence Training Transformation Contest Day 35
It’s a workout day off today. My back is still bothering me a bit. I’ve been told to put heat on it every day to loosen it up. I’m going back for another massage in 3 weeks. Hopefully focusing on better posture will help.
I think I’m going to pick up a pair of the spinlock dumbbells. I also have to get extra 10 and 5 lbs plates for them. This will allow me to use different weights for the supersets. I was also going to pick up an exercise mat but I’ll wait that out till I move.
Only 1 more week to go for my 6 week transformation.
