My 10th Week of the 11th Turbulence Training Transformation Contest

This is my 10th Week of the 11th Turbulence Training Transformation Contest. It was from July 3-9. This is week 2 of the Buff Dudes and Hot Chicks workout. I left the weights the same this week but I did 3 sets for each. It says if you want to gain muscle then use 3 sets and use 2 sets for without gaining muscle. I’m not really in it for the muscle but want the better workout. I won’t really gain much muscle if at all since I’m on low calories and fasting. I’ve still been keeping with my calories even know it was a holiday weekend.

Turbulence Training Transformation Contest Day 64

I began my day fasting from the night before. It seems to be getting easier and easier every time as long as there aren’t tempting foods laying around the house. There always seems to be something popping up.

I went for a walk and took the kids to the park in the morning. It’s been a great holiday weekend with great weather. I also took them for a swim at their grandma’s. In the afternoon I got to relax while they took a nap. Then it was off to grandma’s again for dinner and more swimming.

I had a …. wait for it… you’ll never guess.. Hot dog with salad and veggies. I went without the dressing on the salad. Is till managed to keep the calories down. I’m guessing the hot dog with bun was about 400 cal. I couldn’t find the package.

When I got home I had some of my flax oil and some apple juice along with a protein shake. I was going to open my peanut butter and chocolate protein shake but I have others that expire soon so I was stuck with chocolate. I probably have enough for the rest of the year since I almost never drink them any more.

Turbulence Training Transformation Contest Day 65

I woke up extra early today. It usually happens after a fast day. It gave me extra time to work on the computer before the kids woke up. I had a bowl of Kashi and milk for breakfast.

In the morning I took the kids swimming. For lunch I had an egg salad sandwich.

In the afternoon I did my Workout A from Buff Dudes Hot Chicks. It’s a great workout to start the week since it’s light weights or no weights at all. Those Bulgarian split squats are still killing me without weight.

In the evening we took the kids for a swim again. I had grilled chicken with macaroni salad and Caesar salad without dressing. I also had a dozen almonds for a snack in the evening.

Turbulence Training Transformation Contest Day 66

Today was a workout day off for me. I started my day having 3 eggs with cheese, tomatoes and broccoli. I did a bit of rolling in the morning.

For lunch I had a Tuna sandwich. After lunch I went to the chiropractor then I cut the grass.

For Dinner I had grilled chicken, asparagus, carrots and salad without dressing. I began my fast at 6pm.

Tip: Without the dressing the salad isn’t very many calories at all. Say you are someone that pours on the dressing, say 5 tbsp of dressing.. 300 calories. That’s half my meal.. LOL

I don’t know about you but I would rather be eating the 300 calories rather then consuming it as dressing.

And we wonder why the world is so fat.

Turbulence Training Transformation Contest Day 67

Today I was fasting from last night. I was on the computer most of the morning.

In the afternoon I did the Workout B from the Buff Dudes Hot Chicks workout. I kept the weights the same but did 3 sets this time.

I broke my fast at 24hrs. I had a hamburger for dinner. Around 600 calories. I didn’t have anything after dinner so it was around a 600 calorie day.

Turbulence Training Transformation Contest Day 68

Today was a workout day off. I went shopping today and pretty much relaxed.

For breakfast I had 2 eggs with cheese and a glass of milk. Estimated 300 calories.

Lunch was a 12″ subway sub. No dressing. Around 800 calories.

Dinner – Hamburger. Around 600 calories.

Looking at a total of about 1700 calories.

I also had a couple glasses of green tea today. I also picked up some honey and ginseng, and lemon and honey green tea. Never tried them before. I’ll let everyone know what they are like.

Turbulence Training Transformation Contest Day 69

In the morning I did some rolling with the travelroller.

Today I went to get a massage. My lower back was feeling better but now my upper middle back has been bothering me. After the massage I went to the chiropractor.

In the afternoon I did Workout C from Buff Dudes Hot Chick workout. The no rest is killer. This is one of my favourites. I like that it tells me what to do for intervals. I kind of got interrupted during my intervals. My son woke up from his nap. I went back and finished it though.

My meals for today were:
Breakfast: 2 eggs, cheese, glass of milk, apple. (400 calories)
Lunch: Hamburger (half a patty), and an apple. (500 calories)
Snack: glass of milk (100 calories)
Dinner: Chicken burger (500 calories)
Total Calories 1500

I started my fast after dinner at around 6pm.
It’s going to be another productive day tomorrow.

Turbulence Training Transformation Contest Day 70

Only 14 days to go. I continued fasting till dinner. I mowed the grass, did some weeding and raking.

I had Chicken, bread, salad without dressing and some watermelon. Calories were about 600.

I also had an apple and a small glass of apple juice in the evening. Calories about 150.

Total for the day 750 Calories.

Turbulence Training Transformation Contest Week 10 Summary 

I’ve been staying with my calorie goals each day of the week as well as fasting twice. My back is starting to feel better. I’ve been carrying things with both hands instead of lugging around heavy things with only one side. That seems to be what was doing it for my lower back. Carrying the baby around on one side or lifting his car seat one one side. My upper middle back started to hurt but I’d rather have the pain there then the lower back. I can live through it easier.
