Turbulence Training Transformation Contest Day 71 No workout today as it&#8217;s a workout day off. I did however finish cutting the grass and did the trim. I also did some vacuuming inside. In the afternoon we went for a swim. Breakfast: 2 slices of toast with peanut butter and honey. Glass of milk. 400 Calories Lunch: Hamburger. 600 Calories Dinner: Sausage on a bun, salad without dressing, veggies, watermelon, 600 Calories Snack: 1/2 glass of apple juice and an apple. 150 Calories Total: 1550 calories. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>This is my 11th Week of the 11th <b>Turbulence Training Transformation Contest</b>. It was from July 10-16. It was my 3rd week of the Buff Dudes Hot Chicks workout. I&#8217;ve still been keeping my calories low  as well as fasting for 2 times this week. I am getting to the point that I am thinner then I&#8217;ve ever been.</p>
<h2>Turbulence Training Transformation Contest Day 71</h2>
<p>No workout today as it&#8217;s a workout day off. I did however finish cutting the grass and did the trim. I also did some vacuuming inside.</p>

<p>Today was Workout A from the Buff Dudes Hot Chicks workout. It&#8217;s the thrid week of this workout. It was a rough workout. I waited till 3pm to do my workout. Those bulgurain split squats are still killing me. I upped my weight by 5lbs.</p>
<p>Meals for the day were<br />
Breakfast &#8211; 2 eggs with cheese and a glass of milk. 400 Calories<br />
Lunch &#8211; Tuna sandwich and a glass of vegetable juice. 500 Calories<br />
Dinner &#8211; Pork chops and rice. Estimate 600 calories<br />
Snack &#8211; Strawberries. Less then 100 calories</p>
<p>Total 1600 Calories</p>
<h2>Turbulence Training Transformation Contest Day 73</h2>
<p>Today was a workout day off. In the morning and afternoon I did some parging at my parents house. I also went for a swim with the kids in the afternoon. There is my activity for the day. My glutes are killing me from crouching an kneeling. My back was a bit sore too.</p>
<p>My meals:<br />
Breakfast: 2 pieces of toast with honey and cinnamon. A glass of milk. 400 calories<br />
Lunch: two pork chops and a glass of vegetable juice. Estimate 600 calories.<br />
Dinner: Lasagna, salad and garlic bread. 600 Calories<br />
Total Calories 1600</p>
<p>I began my fast at 5:45 pm.</p>
<h2>Turbulence Training Transformation Contest Day 74</h2>
<p>Only 10 days to go. I&#8217;m getting closer to a six pack every day. Today was a fasting day. In the morning I helped my dad with some parging. In the afternoon I did my Workout B from Buff Dudes and Hot Chicks workout. I think this is the easiest of the three. The shoulder presses are a bit rough because I haven&#8217;t been doing any type of shoulder press for a while. (Doctor&#8217;s orders). My shoulder is feeling ok doing them though as along as I don&#8217;t overdo it. At least at home I don&#8217;t have anyone bumping into me while I am working out. Once I was working out at the gym doing incline presses and some kid bumped into the barbell as I lifted it up. Let&#8217;s just say it wasn&#8217;t good for my shoulder. It felt loose again.</p>
<p>For dinner I had chicken with rice and an apple. I didn&#8217;t have any snack after.</p>
<h2>Turbulence Training Transformation Contest Day 75</h2>
<p>Today was a workout day off. Took the kids around the block in the wagon a couple times. I moved some stuff from storage for the garage sale.</p>
<p>Meals for today.<br />
Breakfast: 2 pieces of toast with peanutbutter and honey, glass of milk. (I know I pretty much rotate 3 breakfasts) 400 Calories<br />
Lunch: rice and a pork chop, apple Around 600 calories<br />
Dinner: ricen and chicken. Around 600 Calories<br />
Total 1600 Calories</p>
<p>Started a fast after dinner. Going to do workout C while fasted tomorrow.</p>
<h2>Turbulence Training Transformation Contest Day 76</h2>
<p>Only 8 More days after today. I was fasting today. I went to the chiropractor in the morning and then for a swim.</p>
<p>I did my workout at around 3:30. It was about 22 hrs of fasting at that time. Great workout. I was panting like a dog. Dripping sweat everywhere.</p>
<p>For Dinner I had 2 pieces of vegetarian pizza. 440 Calories<br />
In the evening I had a small glass of applejuice, an apple and strawberries. 170 Calories.</p>
<p>Total Calories 610. That was a low day. The six pack is starting to show. I can&#8217;t stop looking in the mirror. LOL</p>

<h2>Turbulence Training Transformation Contest Day 77</h2>
<p>It was a workout day off to day but I got lots of activity in. I took my son to soccer in the morning, packed up and moved out things that we didn&#8217;t sell at the yard sale in the afternoon, and took the kids for a swim in the evening.</p>
<p>Meals for today:</p>
<p>Breakfast: 2 pieces of toast with peanutbutter and honey, Glass of milk. 400 Calories<br />
Lunch/Snack: 2 apples. 160 Calories<br />
Dinner: Grilled chicken with some salad and mystery vegetable caserol. 600 Calories?<br />
Snack: Apple and banana, 180 Calories</p>
<p>Total Calories 1340</p>

<h2>Turbulence Training Transformation Contest Week 11 Summary </h2>
<p> It&#8217;s been kind of rough keeping the calories down for the 11th week. Only 1 more week to go in the contest. I think I&#8217;ll have a maintenance week at the end. I still haven&#8217;t choosen a Turublence Training Workout for after the contest. I hear there is a 2k11 Abs workout coming out but I am not sure what equipment I would need for the exercises. Hopefully the voting for the 6 week will be going on soon as everyone has already submitted their entrys.</p>

<p>I began my day fasting from the night before. It seems to be getting easier and easier every time as long as there aren&#8217;t tempting foods laying around the house. There always seems to be something popping up.</p>

In the afternoon I got to relax while they took a nap. Then it was off to grandma&#8217;s again for dinner and more swimming.</p>
<p>I had a &#8230;. wait for it&#8230; you&#8217;ll never guess.. Hot dog with salad and veggies. I went without the dressing on the salad. Is till managed to keep the calories down. I&#8217;m guessing the hot dog with bun was about 400 cal. I couldn&#8217;t find the package.</p>
<p>When I got home I had some of my flax oil and some apple juice along with a protein shake. I was going to open my peanut butter and chocolate protein shake but I have others that expire soon so I was stuck with chocolate. I probably have enough for the rest of the year since I almost never drink them any more.</p>

<p>I woke up extra early today. It usually happens after a fast day. It gave me extra time to work on the computer before the kids woke up. I had a bowl of Kashi and milk for breakfast.</p>
<p>In the morning I took the kids swimming. For lunch I had an egg salad sandwich.</p>
<p>In the afternoon I did my Workout A from Buff Dudes Hot Chicks. It&#8217;s a great workout to start the week since it&#8217;s light weights or no weights at all. Those Bulgarian split squats are still killing me without weight.</p>
<p>In the evening we took the kids for a swim again. I had grilled chicken with macaroni salad and Caesar salad without dressing. I also had a dozen almonds for a snack in the evening.</p>

<p>Today was a workout day off for me. I started my day having 3 eggs with cheese, tomatoes and broccoli. I did a bit of rolling in the morning.</p>
<p>For lunch I had a Tuna sandwich. After lunch I went to the chiropractor then I cut the grass.</p>
<p>For Dinner I had grilled chicken, asparagus, carrots and salad without dressing. I began my fast at 6pm.</p>
<p>Tip: Without the dressing the salad isn&#8217;t very many calories at all. Say you are someone that pours on the dressing, say 5 tbsp of dressing.. 300 calories. That&#8217;s half my meal.. LOL</p>
<p>I don&#8217;t know about you but I would rather be eating the 300 calories rather then consuming it as dressing.</p>
<p>And we wonder why the world is so fat.</p>

<p>Today I was fasting from last night. I was on the computer most of the morning.</p>
<p>In the afternoon I did the Workout B from the Buff Dudes Hot Chicks workout. I kept the weights the same but did 3 sets this time.</p>
<p>I broke my fast at 24hrs. I had a hamburger for dinner. Around 600 calories. I didn&#8217;t have anything after dinner so it was around a 600 calorie day.</p>

<p>Today was a workout day off. I went shopping today and pretty much relaxed.</p>
<p>For breakfast I had 2 eggs with cheese and a glass of milk. Estimated 300 calories.</p>
<p>Lunch was a 12&#8243; subway sub. No dressing. Around 800 calories.</p>
<p>Dinner &#8211; Hamburger. Around 600 calories.</p>
<p>Looking at a total of about 1700 calories.</p>
<p>I also had a couple glasses of green tea today. I also picked up some honey and ginseng, and lemon and honey green tea. Never tried them before. I&#8217;ll let everyone know what they are like.</p>

<p>In the morning I did some rolling with the travelroller.</p>
<p>Today I went to get a massage. My lower back was feeling better but now my upper middle back has been bothering me. After the massage I went to the chiropractor.</p>
<p>In the afternoon I did Workout C from Buff Dudes Hot Chick workout. The no rest is killer. This is one of my favourites. I like that it tells me what to do for intervals. I kind of got interrupted during my intervals. My son woke up from his nap. I went back and finished it though.</p>
<p>My meals for today were:<br />
Breakfast: 2 eggs, cheese, glass of milk, apple. (400 calories)<br />
Lunch: Hamburger (half a patty), and an apple. (500 calories)<br />
Snack: glass of milk (100 calories)<br />
Dinner: Chicken burger (500 calories)<br />
Total Calories 1500</p>
<p>I started my fast after dinner at around 6pm.<br />
It&#8217;s going to be another productive day tomorrow.</p>

<p>Only 14 days to go. I continued fasting till dinner. I mowed the grass, did some weeding and raking.</p>
<p>I had Chicken, bread, salad without dressing and some watermelon. Calories were about 600.</p>
<p>I also had an apple and a small glass of apple juice in the evening. Calories about 150.</p>
<p>Total for the day 750 Calories.</p>

<p>I&#8217;ve been staying with my calorie goals each day of the week as well as fasting twice. My back is starting to feel better. I&#8217;ve been carrying things with both hands instead of lugging around heavy things with only one side. That seems to be what was doing it for my lower back. Carrying the baby around on one side or lifting his car seat one one side. My upper middle back started to hurt but I&#8217;d rather have the pain there then the lower back. I can live through it easier. </p>

It was an interesting week filled with lots of sandwiches, fruit and I didn&#8217;t forget to throw in a few hot dogs as well. This <u>Turbulence Training Transformation Contest</u> has really made me think and realize how many people around me are overeating each day. Most of the meals I have are usually about half the size of what others are eating. I began the <a href="http://blog.leanbodyfitnessarticles.com/0209">Buff Dudes and Hot Chicks </a>Turbulence Training workout this week. It&#8217;s a 3 day workout that has 2 separate workouts so you do one of each a week.</p>
<h2>Turbulence Training Transformation Contest Day 57</h2>
<p>Today I woke up extra early at 5:45. Not by choice. I had 2 pieces of toast with peanut butter and honey. I also had some vegetable juice and an apple.</p>
<p>I kind of combined lunch and dinner since we had my son&#8217;s baptism in the afternoon. I had 4 mini sandwiches. maybe the size of a 6-8 inch sub. Pasta salad and some grapes. A black coffee and water to drink. I stayed away from the goodies and cake.</p>
<p>In the evening I had a bowl of melon, pineapple and grapes.</p>
<p>I did a lot of work with my roller in the morning. Getting some of the kinks out of my legs and glutes.</p>
<h2>Turbulence Training Transformation Contest Day 58</h2>
<p>Today I&#8217;m on the Sandwiches and fruit diet. Not by choice. We have so many sandwiches and fruit left over from my son&#8217;s baptism. At least I got rid of the cake.</p>
<p>I had Sandwiches for breakfast and some for lunch with fruit.</p>
<p>Dinner I had some pizza, salad and veggies.</p>

It was pretty good. Stuck with 2 supersets of each so I can go easy for the first week getting use to it. By looking at the workout it seemed easy but I was working up a pretty good sweat by the end. It will be even better when I do 3 supersets. The stability ball ab pike exercise was rough. My wrists need to get in shape. They were feeling it.</p>
<p>I have to get my bench and workout mat before Wednesday so I can do the workout B which I will definitely need both for.</p>
<h2>Turbulence Training Transformation Contest Day 59</h2>
<p>Today was a workout day off. I ate some veggies and left over sandwiches for breakfast. I skipped lunch since we were at Ikea and I didn&#8217;t want another hot dog. I did get a bit of a workout in lifting the beds we bought.</p>
<p>For dinner I had stuffed peppers and some melon and grapes.</p>
<p>I also picked up 4 x 2.5 lbs weights. I only had enough for one set of dumbbells. I also got a 4&#8242;x6&#8242;x1/2&#8243; exercise mat. This thing must weigh 60lbs. It&#8217;s a workout moving it around. Once I move I&#8217;ll pick up a couple more as I&#8217;ll then have more area for working out.</p>
<p>I was going to start another fast but there was just too much fruit still left over that I didn&#8217;t want to go to waste. I&#8217;ll do my fast tomorrow.. Nice that it&#8217;s flexible.</p>
<h2>Turbulence Training Transformation Contest Day 60</h2>
<p>I had lots of fruit for breakfast today. Finally it&#8217;s almost all gone. It&#8217;s hard adjusting to eating less and making sure things don&#8217;t spoil. It doesn&#8217;t help when you have an event and end up taking home all the leftovers.</p>
<p>I did my Workout B from the <a href="http://blog.leanbodyfitnessarticles.com/0209">buff dudes hot chicks workout</a> after I cut the grass. I used less weight as it says and I still got a great workout.</p>
<p>I had some stuffed peppers for lunch and for dinner I had steak, potato and a salad with a glass of red wine at the restaurant at the casino.</p>
<p>My fast started at 7pm. No workout tomorrow. It will be a cleaning day again.</p>
<h2>Turbulence Training Transformation Contest Day 61</h2>
<p>Today was a fasting day. I had a couple cups of black coffee and water. I was doing house cleaning for most of the morning.</p>
<p>For dinner I had a subway ham sub.</p>
<h2>Turbulence Training Transformation Contest Day 62</h2>
<p>It&#8217;s Canada day here in Canada. I had fruit for breakfast this morning before we went to the parade. After the parade we had lunch. It was chicken, corn on the cob and salad. No dressing on my salad.</p>
<p>For dinner I had a turkey burger and some potato salad. I also had a banana and some almonds after dinner.</p>
<p>I did the Workout C from <a href="http://blog.leanbodyfitnessarticles.com/0209">buff dudes hot chicks</a>. It was pretty rough doing all the supersets without any break in between. I think this is just the workout I need. Even using lower weights you can still really feel it.</p>
<p>Just over a week we can all see how everyone&#8217;s transformations for the 6 week contest went. If I do another contest I&#8217;ll remember to start on the last possible date. Nothing like sitting around and waiting for 4 weeks to see how you compare with the other transformations.</p>
<h2>Turbulence Training Transformation Contest Day 63</h2>
<p>Today was a workout day off. For breakfast I had some Kashi cereal with 1% milk. Lunch was an egg salad sandwich. Dinner was at the food court. I had a couple chicken wraps.</p>
<p>It was a pretty low calorie day for me today. I started another fast at 5:30 pm.</p>
<p>My activity today was taking my son to soccer in the morning. He made a couple nice saves as goalie and scored his first goal.</p>
<p>I picked some weeds in the afternoon and went to the mall in the evening. A pretty relaxing day.</p>
<p>I took some measurements as well. I thought for the 12 weeks I would like to lose 25lbs and I have almost done that. I have 0.5 lbs to go. Now I am at about 12% body fat. I think I may have to get around 8% to see these abs. I still have 3 weeks to go and I&#8217;m sure I&#8217;ll make it to the single digits.</p>

<h2>Turbulence Training Transformation Contest Week 9 Summary </h2>
<p>It was another great week aside from eating the same foods for days straight. I am still making progress in my fat loss. I&#8217;m still feeling some soreness from that Workout C I did on Friday. It&#8217;s amazing what you can do even with low weights. I&#8217;m feeling it in my lats and my chest. The workout mat I got is sure coming in handy. My workout was that much better because of it. When I was doing lunges it felt a lot sturdier and it&#8217;s nice to know you have some good padding under your knee when you are kneeling. The only downside is if you are sweating on it then it can become slippery. Better use a towel next time.</p>
<p>Only 3 more weeks to go. With this workout I feel these are going to be my best 3 weeks of my Turbulence Training Transformation Contest.</p>

<h2>Turbulence Training Transformation Contest Day 50</h2>

<h2>Turbulence Training Transformation Contest Day 51</h2>
<p>Today’s breakfast was 2 pieces of toast with peanut butter and honey, some raspberries, a banana and a protein shake. I had a lack of food available so added a protein shake to it.</p>
<p>For lunch I was out shopping and had a steak sandwich with some fries and a diet Pepsi. I can&#8217;t believe how much pop I&#8217;ve been drinking.. and diet at that.</p>
<p>I did my workout at 4pm. The dreaded workout B. I increased my weight 5 lbs per dumbbell. The Bulgarian split squats are getting better. I actually got 12 reps in for the first 2 sets. Still no weight though. My legs felt better though. Not sure if it had something to do with the travel roller I&#8217;ve been using. I know my legs do need some work though.</p>
<p>After my workout I went for a cool dip in the pool. For dinner a hot dog, pork and tuna macaroni salad.</p>
<h2>Turbulence Training Transformation Contest Day 52</h2>
<p>I started off my day with a bowl of kashi cereal with milk and sliced banana. I also had 2 eggs with cheese, raspberries and a glass of vegetable juice.</p>
<p>For lunch I had some mashed potatoes, rice and chicken.</p>
<p>Dinner was another hot dog&#8230; I think I&#8217;ve had them 3 days in a row.. I also had a few fries with it.</p>
<p>My exercise for today on my rest day was cutting the grass. I also used my travelroller in the morning.</p>
<p>I started my 24 hr fast after dinner. I got some new Extra dessert delights gum and it&#8217;s sugar free. Mint Chocolate Chip gum&#8230; and I&#8217;m allowed sugar free gum for my fast. Tastes pretty good to.</p>
<h2>Turbulence Training Transformation Contest Day 53</h2>
<p>I continued my fast for the day. I kept busy during my fast with housework.</p>
<p>I had chicken with pasta and vegetables for dinner. For my evening snack I had a protein shake and some strawberries.</p>
<p>Unfortunately I didn&#8217;t have time for my workout during the day so I worked out at 8pm while watching the NHL awards show. I upped my weights from the previous workout A by 5 lbs. It was a great workout and I feel like I could up my weights again but this was my last workout A from this program. Next week on to Buff dudes workout.</p>
<h2>Turbulence Training Transformation Contest Day 54</h2>
<p>I had 2 pieces of toast with peanut butter, honey and some cinnamon. I also had an apple, strawberries and a glass of milk.</p>
<p>Lunch was chicken with rice and an apple.</p>
<p>My dinner was Chicken with ham and rice. I also had some salad.</p>
<p>My snack for later was a banana and some strawberries.</p>
<p>No workout today but I did spend some time on my travelroller.</p>
<h2>Turbulence Training Transformation Contest Day 55</h2>
<p>Today I decided to cut my breakfast down in calories. I don&#8217;t need to eat as much as I have been for breakfast. I was aiming for 600 cal before but I&#8217;m going to target 450 cal now. I had a bowl of kashi cereal with milk and a banana. I also had a glass of vegetable juice. The cereal is such a small portion since it is so high in calories.</p>
<p>For lunch I had two grilled cheese sandwiches. They were small so it was probably around 500 cal.</p>
<p>Dinner was stuffed peppers with rice.</p>
<p>In the morning I had a massage. Apparently I should be taking it easy with the weights as I think the more weight I lift the worse my back gets.</p>
<p>I did my workout in the afternoon. I have now completed the 2K4 workout. I&#8217;ll be starting the buff dude’s workout on Monday. It&#8217;s always fun moving on to a new workout. I think 4 weeks is the perfect amount of time to stick with one workout. You don&#8217;t get bored but by then end you are ready to move on.</p>
<p>I started another fast after dinner. In the evening I watched the NHL draft from the floor on my travelroller.</p>
<h2>Turbulence Training Transformation Contest Day 56</h2>
<p>It&#8217;s my 6th Wedding Anniversary today. Wow time fly’s. This summer and Turbulence Training contest seem to be flying by as well. I&#8217;m already 2/3 of the way through this. Only 4 weeks to go and I&#8217;ll be doing the Buff Dudes workout. Hopefully it will turn me into a buff dude.. with a six pack!</p>
<p>No workout today. I fasted until almost 7:30pm. It was a late dinner. About a 25.5 hr fast. I had chicken cordon blue with rice. I also had a snack of grapes and strawberries later in the evening.</p>
<p>My dad told me the YMCA has a free 2 week trial on now. Maybe I&#8217;ll give it a try just to change up the scenery. I don&#8217;t think I&#8217;ll get as good of a workout though since there are a lot of supersets in the Turbulence Training workouts.</p>
<p>This week felt much better doing only 2 fasts. I think I&#8217;m around 2lb loss per week since the 6 week entry. I figured it would be slowing down now since I&#8217;m starting to run out of fat to lose. Only 4 more weeks to go.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>My journey into the <b>Eat Stop Eat</b> Lifestyle began on May 20th 2011. This was 20 days into my transformation in the 11th Turbulence Training Transformation Contest. <h2>Eat Stop Eat Intermittent Fasting V.S. Diets</h2>
<p>Many other diets out there call for you to only eat select amounts of protein, carbohydrates or fat when you are cutting calories. They may even have you eat every 3 hrs or some other gimmicks. I was tired of this. It&#8217;s no fun working your life around your diet. I use to be eating every 3 hrs to avoid the starvation mode. Brad taught me that this starvation mode doesn&#8217;t actually happen until around 72 hrs of not eating. I guess those other books were off by 69 hrs.</p>
<p>With Eat Stop Eat these short term fasts last around 24 hrs. It&#8217;s flexible so you can work your diet around your life. Now I am just eating my normal 3 meals a day and I sometimes have a small evening snack. Instead of counting every gram of protein, carbohydrates and fat I am just counting the total calories. I don&#8217;t write my calories down either. I have cut back my calories slightly below maintenance level. Next I simply divided out my calories for the day into the meals I usually have and try to hit that calorie target for the meal I am eating. If I go a little over it&#8217;s OK because I am doing 2 fasts a week to cut back the calories.</p>
<h2>How Intermittent Fasting and Exercise are similar</h2>
<p>I bet you didn&#8217;t know that fasting and exercise are similar. I found this you tube video of the author Brad Pilon explaining how fasting and exercise are similar for burning body fat as a fuel, reducing insulin levels, increasing GH levels and increasing muscle metabolism. It&#8217;s for all those people out there that are more into the scientific aspects of fasting. Watch the video and he will explain it in more detail.</p>

<h2>What foods can you eat with Eat Stop Eat?</h2>
<p>Well the foods I am eating when I am not on the fast portion of the program are basically whatever I want. Brad Pilon suggests to cut out all the bad foods you can do without. It&#8217;s OK to keep a couple of them that you must have to keep your sanity. I have cut out cookies, chips, and ice cream. So far, I have had some cake, a couple drinks and some desert at a restaurant we went to. I don&#8217;t have to feel guilty because you are allowed to have these foods in moderation. The main thing is to have a variety of foods, try to stick to healthy ones, and if you slip up, you slip up. No big deal. Just don&#8217;t go pigging out.</p>
<p>During my fasts there is no eating going on. The program allows you to drink water, black coffee, green tea, 0 calorie pop/soda, and sugar-free gum. Mostly I stick with the water. I have the occasional coffee, tea or soda and usually 1-2 sticks of gum.</p>

<h2>Final thoughts about Eat Stop Eat</h2>
<p>When I first read about Eat Stop Eat Intermittent fasting I thought it would be hard because I love eating. I actually dove right into this and started with a 24 hr fast. It actually wasn&#8217;t as difficult as I thought it would be. The key is to stay busy during your fast and stay away from the kitchen. It gets easier each time and you start to realize which foods you really don&#8217;t need. Eventually you don&#8217;t even care to eat them anymore.</p>

<h2>Turbulence Training Transformation Contest Day 43</h2>

<p>Today I had some toast with peanut butter, honey and a dash of cinnamon with a glass of milk and fruit. I did my workout in the morning at around 10am. It was workout A. I upped my weights 5lbs. I had a protein shake after my workout. I decided not to have lunch as the funeral luncheon would be around 3pm. I had some sandwiches and fruit and was done eating by 4pm. Starting another fast and this one could last up to 26 hrs. A little longer then usual.</p>
<h2>Turbulence Training Transformation Contest Day 45</h2>
<p>I continued with my fast today. It was a workout day off. I had water, a cup of green tea and a sprite zero during my fast along with a couple pieces of sugarfree gum. My fast lasted over 26 hrs this time.</p>
<p>My activity for today was powerwashing my parents patio and I took my kids for a 30 minute walk in the wagon after dinner. For dinner I had 4 small leftover sandwiches, some peanuts, celery, carrots and some grapes.</p>
<p>In the evening I had a bowl of melon and grapes. Evenings are going to be getting tougher as I am running out of shows on TV to watch. Going to be spending more time on the computer.</p>
<h2>Turbulence Training Transformation Contest Day 46</h2>
<p>Today I had 3 eggs, with cheese and a half a green pepper along with some grapes, and melon for breakfast.</p>
<p>I did my workout B of the 2k4 in the morning. That second superset is still killing my legs. I think they are going to be in the best shape ever after this 2k4 workout. Hard to imagine you can get such a great workout without using any machines. I remember the only leg exercises I use to do were leg press, leg extentions and leg curls all with machines.</p>
<p>For lunch we went to costco so I had a hot dog and a couple fries. I had a coke zero to go with it. There aren&#8217;t many options and I forgot my water.</p>
<p>For dinner I had some white sause pasta with chicken. I had a banana for desert.</p>
<p>Start another fast at 5:40 pm.</p>
<p>After dinner I cut the grass and then watched the hockey game. Thank god the season is over now. It gets really long when you team (Toronto Maple Leafs) isn&#8217;t in the playoffs.</p>
<h2>Turbulence Training Transformation Contest Day 47</h2>
<p>Today is an off day for my workout. I took a walk in the morning with the kids to the park. In the evening I did some house cleaning and vacuuming.</p>
<p>I fasted untill dinner. I had 2 black coffee&#8217;s and water during my fast.</p>
<p>For dinner I had some left over past and 4 chicken wings.</p>
<p>In the evening I had some almonds and a banana.</p>
<p>I have been looking up foam rollers and the acuball and I am considering picking up one or both. I am looking for input on which will help my back and relieve stress in muscles the most. Hopefully also reduce the amount of times I have to go for a massage.</p>
<h2>Turbulence Training Transformation Contest Day 48</h2>
<p>36 days to go.. I just finished my Workout A from 2K4. Unfortunately I didn&#8217;t get my workout in till late tonight. I was out of the house most of the day. I picked up the travel roller today. I found a store nearby so I didn&#8217;t have to pay the shipping. They also had 10% off fitness equipment today as well. Double bonus for me.</p>
<p>I gave it a try. I can see this improving my core strength and getting rid of some tense muscles. Usually when I go for a massage there isn&#8217;t enough time to work on my legs so they have been neglected. Maybe working on my legs will improve my leg strength in the long run.</p>
<p>I began another fast after dinner. My meals weren&#8217;t that good today. I had 3 pieces of toast with peanut butter and honey along with a banana for breakfast. Lunch was a couple pieces of pizza and dinner was 2 turkey burgers. At least calorie wise I was on track. My goal is mainly just to stick with the proper calories.</p>
<h2>Turbulence Training Transformation Contest Day 49</h2>
<p>Today I continued fasting until dinner. I took my son to soccer in the morning and then went shopping. Picked up some vegetable juice. No sugar added. It&#8217;s pretty good and only 60 calories a glass.</p>
<p>In the afternoon I did some cleaning outside and played hockey with my son.</p>
<p>I had chicken and rice for dinner. In the evening I went to a stag and doe. I had my first drink during this contest. A light beer. Then I had some food (salad, veggies and meat) at the stag and doe. I stayed away from the pasta and bread.</p>
<p>I think I am going to give the fasting a rest for a couple days then get back on it midweek.</p>

I picked up some new workout equipment and took my 6 week transformation pictures and measurements at the end of the week. I was stunned by the difference in my pictures.  Turbulence Training Transformation Contest Day 36 It was a workout day off today. I did a little bit of cleaning today. Went to Canadian tire to get some weight but the only ones they have are too big for dumbbells. Going to have to check somewhere else tomorrow. I&#8217;m starting another fast tonight. This is the beginning of week six. 6 more days to go for my 6 week transformation. Turbulence Training Transformation Contest Day 37 Today I went and picked up some new dumbbells. Now I can use different weights for supersets. These ones have a nicer grip then my others and have the spin-lock which makes it easier to change weights. Hopefully next on my list is a couple gym quality mats and maybe a solid pullup bar. I did workout B from the 2K4 workout today. This is the best workout I&#8217;ve done so far. I picked up some new workout equipment and took my 6 week transformation pictures and measurements at the end of the week. I was stunned by the difference in my pictures. </p>
<h2>Turbulence Training Transformation Contest Day 36</h2>
<p>It was a workout day off today. I did a little bit of cleaning today. Went to Canadian tire to get some weight but the only ones they have are too big for dumbbells. Going to have to check somewhere else tomorrow.</p>
<p>I&#8217;m starting another fast tonight. This is the beginning of week six. 6 more days to go for my 6 week transformation.</p>
<h2>Turbulence Training Transformation Contest Day 37</h2>
<p>Today I went and picked up some new dumbbells. Now I can use different weights for supersets. These ones have a nicer grip then my others and have the spin-lock which makes it easier to change weights. Hopefully next on my list is a couple gym quality mats and maybe a solid pullup bar.</p>
<p>I did workout B from the 2K4 workout today. This is the best workout I&#8217;ve done so far. My legs are sore now. They are getting a lot stronger and my knee isn&#8217;t bothering me anymore. I guess it just needed more muscle.</p>
<p>I had 2 turkey burgers for dinner after my fast that lasted 23:30. They are pretty good and only 170 calories each. I also had some grapes as a snack in the evening.</p>
<h2>Turbulence Training Transformation Contest Day 38</h2>
<p>Today was a workout day off. I did some cleaning around the house and played with the kids. I began another fast after dinner around 5:30pm.</p>
<h2>Turbulence Training Transformation Contest Day 39</h2>
<p>Today I continued cleaning all day till about 4pm. I was fasting for the day. We went for a swim at my parents. I&#8217;m basically just walking around in the shallow end while the kids swim. My fast ended at around 6-6:30. Had a hamburger. They were huge. A bit too many calories. Then I got home around 8 and did more cleaning followed by Workout A of 2k4. I upped the weight and the workout was good. Next time I&#8217;m going to have to increase the weight again. I also had some grapes after my workout.</p>
<h2>Turbulence Training Transformation Contest Day 40</h2>
<p>I had a nice relaxing day today. I started another fast after dinner at 5:30pm.</p>
<h2>Turbulence Training Transformation Contest Day 41</h2>
<p>Today I continued fasting till dinner time. I got a haircut, and cut the grass in the morning. I did Workout B at around noon. I upped my weights by 5lbs each. Those Bulgarian split squats are still giving me a hard time. It&#8217;s a tricky exercise. That second superset is killer. I think my legs are going to be a lot stronger after this 2k4 workout.</p>

I&#8217;m so pumped to see what I can do for the final 6 weeks.</p>

<p>Today was my first workout of the 2k4. I was suprised there wasn&#8217;t any leg exercises in the program. It was actually a nice change to have my legs take a break. I did look at the next workout and there are a lot of leg exercises. I&#8217;m scared. I guess I&#8217;m going to like workout A better in this workout.</p>
<p>I&#8217;m stuck looking at cake every time I go into the fridge. My wife forgot to take the left over cake to work. Maybe I&#8217;ll make everyone have some tomorrow for her birthday.<!-- / message --><!-- sig --></p>
<h2>Turbulence Training Transformation Contest Day 31</h2>
<p>Today was a workout day off. It was so hot outside. I&#8217;m sure I sweated off a couple pounds. I did a lot of moving and cleaning up today. I&#8217;m still going good with my calories. That damn cake in the fridge keeps tempting me. I wish it would just go away.</p>
<p>Tomorrow&#8217;s going to be rough with all the leg exercises in the workout. I feel a big fat burning workout coming on.<!-- / message --><!-- sig --></p>
<h2>Turbulence Training Transformation Contest Day 32</h2>
<p>Today I did workout B of the 2K4 workout. There were lots of leg exercises. I was sweating bullets during the 2nd superset and that&#8217;s only just over 20 min into my workout. I did the bulgurian split squat without weights. It was rough enough.</p>
<p>In the evening we went to Milestones for my wife&#8217;s b-day. We had the couples date night menu. I had the sirloin steak. I only ate half and took the leftovers home. I also had a little desert. I started my fast at the end of the meal.</p>
<h2>Turbulence Training Transformation Contest Day 33</h2>
<p>Today was a workout day off. My back pain is back now. Luckily I&#8217;m getting a massage tomorrow. I did some yard work and cleaned the house all day. A very productive day as it usually is on a fasting day. The time flew by and I had energy all day. For dinner I had the rest of my steak from the night before.</p>
<h2>Turbulence Training Transformation Contest Day 34</h2>
<p>My day started off going to get a massage. Apparently my back isn&#8217;t as it should be. I think I have to work on my posture and not lay on the couch at an awkward angle.</p>
<p>In the afternoon I did workout A again. I like this one the best. No leg workout just upper body. My kind of workout. It breaks it up a bit. I have substituted the rear delt raises with side raises since I&#8217;m not suppose to do the rear type that&#8217;s like flys. Workout went good but I need another set of dumbbells so I can use different weights for different exercises and so I can also use more weight. I&#8217;m almost at the max that I have.</p>
<p>I started another fast after dinner tonight.</p>
<h2>Turbulence Training Transformation Contest Day 35</h2>
<p>It&#8217;s a workout day off today. My back is still bothering me a bit. I&#8217;ve been told to put heat on it every day to loosen it up. I&#8217;m going back for another massage in 3 weeks. Hopefully focusing on better posture will help.</p>
<p>I think I&#8217;m going to pick up a pair of the spinlock dumbbells. I also have to get extra 10 and 5 lbs plates for them. This will allow me to use different weights for the supersets. I was also going to pick up an exercise mat but I&#8217;ll wait that out till I move.</p>
<p>Only 1 more week to go for my 6 week transformation.</p>

<p>Today is my workout day off. I&#8217;m on my second day of fasting for ESE. I stayed busy working all day and it was nice that I didn&#8217;t have to stop to eat. Got a lot done and had a chicken breast with corn and salad for dinner.</p>
<h2>Turbulence Training Transformation Contest Day 25</h2>
<p>Woke up early today. Seems like this seems to happen the day after fasting. I had some Kashi cereal with fruit for breakfast, a grilled chicken sandwich for lunch and salmon, potatoes and salad for dinner. I worked out at 8:30pm while watching the game. I&#8217;m pooped now. I don&#8217;t really care for the late night workouts. Didn&#8217;t have any time during the day. I also had a protein shake after my workout.</p>

<p>My workout day off today. I actually ate McDonalds for lunch. I had the southwestern chicken combo. I subbed the pop with a black coffee to cut the calories down. I cut down my snack in the evening since my lunch went a bit overboard.</p>
<h2>Turbulence Training Transformation Contest Day 27</h2>
<p>My final workout of the Intermediate workout. I did the workout during my fast. It was at about hour 19 of the fast. The workout went as it normally does. The fasting didn&#8217;t hurt the workout.</p>
<h2>Turbulence Training Transformation Contest Day 28</h2>
<p>Today was a workout day off. I think I&#8217;m coming down with something since my throat hurts. I must be getting the cold that the kids have. I had some eggs and fruit in the morning, a grilled chicken sandwich for lunch and a couple pieces of pizza for dinner with salad. I also had some strawberries in the evening.</p>

<p>My legs were burning when I as trying to do the intervals after the 3 supersets. Damn those lunges are tough. It&#8217;s amazing what a leg workout you can get without machines. I remember back in the day I only use to do legs once a week&#8230;.. if that. Now it&#8217;s 3 times a week. This is definately not something I am use to.</p>

<p>It was an off day for workouts today. Didn&#8217;t do much of anything. Tomorrow morning I&#8217;ll be skating with my son and then doing workout B in the afternoon or evening.</p>
<p>I just have to stay focused and not give in to the random unhealthy foods that keep appearing around my house.</p>
<h2>Turbulence Training Transformation Contest Day 18</h2>
<p>Today was another clowdy and rainy day. I went skating with my son in the morning. In the afternoon I did my workout B. Instead of raising the weight again I simply did 8, 10, and 12 reps for the exercises. Next time I&#8217;ll raise the weight and do 8 reps for each set. I don&#8217;t remember the last time my legs have had such a workout. It would be nice if I had 2 sets of weights so I could use a different weight for each exercise if I needed to.</p>
<p>I also took a walk before dinner since the sun finally came out. After dinner it rained again. It makes exercise harder when you can&#8217;t go outside and do something fun.</p>

<p>Today was my workout day off. I&#8217;ve been contemplating trying out the Eat Stop Eat that I see everyone talking about on here. So now I got my copy and I&#8217;m going to get to reading it and I&#8217;ll probably start my fasting after dinner tomorrow. I&#8217;m still skeptical.</p>
<p>I did a couple 30 minute walks today. One before lunch and one in the evening. It&#8217;s nice to get out and not be stuck in the house all day.</p>
<h2 id="post_message_148675">Turbulence Training Transformation Contest Day 20 </h2>
<p>Today was another workout A in the afternoon. It&#8217;s still kicking my butt. Only 2 more B&#8217;s and 1 more A to go.. Then on to 2K4.</p>
<p>I got my copy of Eat Stop Eat today and read through the book. I&#8217;m skeptical. It made some sense though. I&#8217;m giving it a try tonight. My dinner finished at 6:10pm so that&#8217;s when I started. I don&#8217;t think the night time part will be bad since I&#8217;ve only been having a protein shake at 8pm. My body is use to not having much after dinner now. Tomorrow I&#8217;ll have to remember not to eat breakfast though. Once I get through the first part of the morning I think I&#8217;ll be ok. Just gotta do lots of stuff to keep me busy.</p>
<p>I also did some measurements today<br />
Weight is now 194lbs (Loss of 4 lbs) [Converts to 6lbs of fat lost,2 lbs of muscle gained]<br />
Bodyfat is now 18.5% (Loss of 2.7%)</p>

<p>Today was a workout day off. I began my first day of <a href="http://blog.leanbodyfitnessarticles.com/eatstopeat">Eat Stop Eat </a>last night at 6:10pm. This morning I went for a walk, pulled out weeks and trimmed the grass. In the afternoon I cut the grass and powerwashed the patio. More then enough for my day off.</p>
<p>I was doing pretty good most of the day. Didn&#8217;t really feel like eating. I had a couple black coffee&#8217;s. I made it till 5:40pm as that was when dinner was ready. 23:30 for my ESE. It went pretty good for the first one. Maybe by the third one I&#8217;ll try doing a workout during it.</p>
